Dolphin Desalinators started in the late 1980's selling, installing, servicing and repairing other manufacturers' desalination products. From this and extensive research our design personnel recognised the need to develop our own desalination series that was tailor made to the requirements of certain industries and communities. What has evolved out of this development and production is a variety of designs to suit individual client specifications and expectations.

All our units are manufactured in Australia. Under the supervision of our designers, the units are assembled by qualified technicians and electricians before being  thoroughly tested. Only then are they shipped out worldwide.

We have quality long term relationships and have supplied desalinators to a range of clients including the Australian Defence Forces, Queensland Government Departments, Fishing Industries and numerous other small operators, Mining organisations, Foreign Defence Forces, Various Agents and a variety of Private Companies and Corporate Bodies.

Dolphin Desalination systems have been supplied for and are ideal for use on Fishing Vessels, Working Boats, Pleasure Boats, Military / Defence Force Vessels, Super Yachts, Small Yachts, Resorts, Remote Islands and Remote Communities.

The larger MAXI Range Dolphin Desalinators are used on the Torres Strait Island communities for remote community water supply.

A recent contract awarded to Dolphin Desalinators was the supply of 24 Desalination Systems from our MINI range to Austal Ships in Western Australia for the Defence Maritime Services new Royal Australian Navy Armidale Class Patrol Boats.

Research And Development

Since the inception of Dolphin Desalinators we have had a strong commitment to the Research & Development process.

R&D at Dolphin Desalinators in recent years has included the development of a simplified high capacity remote use mobile desalinator. This design uses no high tech components or electrics and this allows easy operation by unskilled operators in remote communities.
